I know, I know. I only put up posts about my own stuff. I am quite proud of this one though. Here is my latest ebay post. And I know that most of you would rather go through Etsy but I am an ebay vet and old habits are hard to break. I also bring you custom pieces by my muse Faun Graves. She has taken to the smaller style of geared cuff and I hope you enjoy them.

Much thanks to Bob Basset for inspiring me to make my own full head mask. The fronts piece removes to allow for eating and socializing. It doesn't look like his leather forming style (which is awesome) but like I said, he was an inspiration for a project I have been wanting to do for a long time.

Well, the SSOA has been worked on again. We have gained a small shirt store, www.cafepress.com/thessoa, our website has been revamped a little at a time, thessoa.com, we now have a representative for our British Bureau, Bonnie Wood, our business card design has been amped up, and a new (to us) bar has been discovered in Washington, DC, the Palace of Wonder, the owner of which we are trying to get to know. Now we only need to spread the word faster and we can get our plan underway.

Here is a closeup shot of my steampunk inspired parlor box and a doll head cage I finished to demonstrate my parlor. It is designed to allow you to look around a room without being there.

The SSOA is looking to expand the private "collection" in an effort to spark interest in our cause. We appreciate leads on any could be, would be, or should be members entertained by the idea of strange and out of the ordinary collecting. Send any information to thessoa@twistedeyephoto.com or post inquiries on this message board.
